Cosmo Development:  Mayfield Heights, OH   EastGate Shopping Center - Renovated MicroCenter exterior and North Strip Center.  Controlled unseen extra costs to less than 8% - down over 60% on the previous phase.

 

Traveling Project Superintendent   Gioffre Companies Inc.      October 1999 to December 2004

Target:  Fast Track Open Store Remodel/Expansions – Michigan (5 projects) – Brighton; Commerce Township; Port Huron; Madison Heights and Flint.  Ohio – Toledo (2 projects) $2.8 -$4.3 MM.

THF Realty:  Chippewa, PA – 30,000 sq. ft. strip center.  Sommerset, PA - 30,000 sq. ft. strip center (substantial rock excavation).  Monaca, PA - Strip center facelift.

Lowe’s:  Mentor, OH - $3.9MM 120,000 sq. ft.  Recovered from substantial site and weather delays.

Lowe’s:  Massillon, OH – $4.8MM 115,000 sq. ft. completed (2) weeks ahead of schedule and under budget.

 

Project Superintendent    Cleveland Construction Inc.     October 1998 to October 1999

Wal-Mart:  Bentonville, AR $7.8MM 1,200,000 sq. ft. Distribution Center.  General prime contractor (one of seven prime contractors).  Project on 280 acres with multiple buildings including; semi-truck service facilities, fire suppression pump facilities and security structures.  Responsible for precast concrete panel installation, interior concrete, interiors and interior dust control (to prevent buildup of explosive levels of dust). 

Wal-Mart:  Ankeny, IA $8.9MM 206,000 sq. ft. SuperCenter.  25 acre project with substantial site (exporting farming grade topsoil and importing 18” of manufactured sand on the project foot print) and utility work, wetlands mitigation and public right of way improvements. Designed concrete and masonry winter condition solutions.

 

Project Manager/Estimator    JJO Construction Inc.     June 1998 to October 1998

Rite Aid Drug Marts:  Willoughby, OH & Cleveland Heights, OH - $1.1 & 1.8MM 11,000 sq. ft. projects.    Completed ahead of schedule and under budget.

CVS Drug Mart:  Cleveland, OH $1.4MM 14,000 sq. ft. Existing structure demolition with EPA asbestos abatement and underground removal of fuel tanks and hydraulic lifts.

Summit County Low Income Housing:  Stow, OH $2.4MM (8) two story, multi-unit buildings.

 

Assistant Superintend/Superintendent    Panzica Construction Inc.    September 1994 to May 1998

Westlake Recreation and Community Center:  Westlake, OH $14MM project with (5) indoor swimming/diving pools; basketball courts, elevated running track, fitness center, galleries, library and offices.  Tennis courts, baseball diamonds and soccer fields on 88 acre site. Designed and oversaw corrective procedures to major structural steel acoustical steel decking deficiencies. 

Marriott Hotel:  Westlake, OH $6.0MM three story upscale hotel.  Completed ahead of schedule for full occupancy grand opening for the Major League Baseball Playoff games in Cleveland.

Larchmere Construction:  Cleveland, OH $3.6MM.  Over (60) residential rehabs.  Previewed properties for acquisition; estimated rehab costs and developed work scopes, negotiated subcontracts; oversaw subcontractors and self-performed work and assisted in the sale of properties.
